Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. How can I post an item?
    On top-right corner of most pages, you would find a button "Post an Item". Click this button to post an item. But you must be a member of Len-Den to post an item.
  2. Can I use an item to submit multiple offers on different items and potentially receive multiple offers on it?
    Yes, an item may be used in any combination of offers; users could make offers on your item as well as you could offer your items to others. Once you accept an offer or an offer you had submitted is accepted, then that particular item need to be closed to avoid getting any more offers.
  3. How do I know if I have received an offer on my item?
    You can check offers received for item in couple of ways. Dashboard Menu has two tabs, namely "Offers In" and "Offers Out". "Offers In" tab lists offers you have received for your item. "Offers Out" tab lists offers you have made for other items. You can also view offers for item by visiting "Item Page" and then clicking on "Offers In" or "Offers Out" tab.
  4. What can I do with offers received for my items?
    You can receive multiple offers for an item. These offers will be listed in "Offers In" tab of Dashboard Menu or "Offers In" tab of Items Page. You can view an offer by clicking "View" button. If you like an offer, use "Reply" button on the "View Offers" page to communicate with the trader.
  5. Can I change an offer after submitting it?
    Yes, you may withdraw or change your offer by navigating to the "Offers In" or "Offers Out" on the item page and then click on "Cancel Offer" image to cancel the offer.
  6. I noticed "Savings" tab under "About Me" menu. What is "Savings" tab?
    Savings tab shows a column chart of your savings over a period of time. This is a useful tool in understanding your savings for past months.
  7. What happens when a user likes my item and would want to swap the item?
    Once a mutual agreement is reached to swap / exchange the item, either user must ship the item or swap item at a common agreed location (if you are in the same city) using the built-in google map feature. Once items are exchanged, it is encouraged that the user "Close the Item" from the Items Page to avoid getting other offers.
  8. How much does it cost to use Len-Den?
    As of now, its a free service to members. Only members can make offers to items.
  9. How about shipping costs?
    If you are living in a same city, it would be ideal to exchange item at a common agreed location. The other option would be to ship items. In that case you would bear the cost of shipping items.
  10. What happens if I receive a damaged item?
    It is the members responsibility to check and verify the items they are exchanging. If you are not satisfied while inspecting the item, you can always cancel the trade.
